
KAHOOT KA’CHINGS: Less than a week after acquiring math game developer, DragonBox for $18 million, Kahoot is at it again. The Oslo-based company is paying $6.5 million in cash and stock to purchase Poio, a Norweigian developer of a reading app that claims to have reached 100,000 Scandinavian children.
Founded in 2017 by a teacher, Poio claims it has reached 100,000 Scandinavian children across Norway and Sweden, where the app is currently available. A British English version is scheduled to be released in June 2019.
