CLASS IN SESSION: Classplus, a Noida, India-based student management app for tutors, has raised $1.6 million in a pre-Series A round led by Times Internet and Gree Ventures. Spiral Ventures and Rising Stars Fund also participated.
Founded in 2017, Classplus will invest the money toward product development and data analytics offerings, according to Economic Times. The company, formerly called XPrep, claims to serve over 1,200 coaching centers in 50 Indian cities.
Times Internet’s previous education investments include Byju and Coursera.
