WISH GRANTED: Geniebook, a Singapore-based online learning platform provider, has raised $1.1 million in a pre-Series A round led by Apricot Capital.
Founded in 2016, Geniebook plans to use the money toward expanding its data science and curriculum team, and refining its artificial intelligence technology that it claims can identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, according to Asia technology news source e27. The company offers a platform that gives students targeted practice questions in subjects like math and science and supports real-time communication with teachers.
Geniebook offers pricing plans starting at 21.58 Singaporean dollars (approx. US $15.77) a month.
