Public Consulting Group, a Boston-based provider of operation improvements for public agencies, has purchased a system of digital data management tools from Script, a Pea Ridge, Ark.-based provider of digital special education support tools.
PCG made the purchase to add more tools to its EDPlan platform used by thousands of districts and schools in 30 states, according to a statement Wednesday. Some Script employees will join PCG as employees or contractors.
Script’s system of the same name provides support for special education and equity requirements, including behavior plans, individualized education programs and eligibility determinations for K-12 schools and districts.
Founded in 1986, PCG has over 2,500 professionals in over 60 offices worldwide. Its education-related business partners include Wiley Publishing, WestEd and edX.
