Tier1 Performance, a Covington, Ky.-based consulting firm, has bought Bottom-Line Performance, a New Palestine, Ind.-based developer of custom learning services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tier1 made the purchase to offer more learning and technology services, according to a statement Tuesday.
Founded in 2002, Tier1 claims to provide leadership, management, communication and development consulting to over 300 corporate and government customers.
Founded in 1995, Bottom-Line Performance claims to have over 30 employees and offers games and apps to help employees learn new processes and products. Clients include Eli Lilly and Co., Dow and Cisco. CEO Sharon Boller will remain in a leadership role with the company.
Corporate learning companies to capture investor attention this year include Degreed, 360Learning and OpenSesame.
