Lessonly, a provider of an online education platform for corporate training, has raised $15 million in a Series C round led by AXA Ventures. Other investors include Allos Ventures, Atlas Peak Capital, Rethink Education, The Yard Ventures and Zendesk. The Indianapolis-based company has raised more than $29 million to date, according to Crunchbase.
Founded in 2012, Lessonly offers a learning management system used by companies to create and deliver online training for their employees. Common topics for lessons and courses include customer service and sales support.
In a blog post announcing the fundraise, the company claims its platform is used by three million users across over 1,000 companies.
