Intelliboard, a Monroe, Conn.-based developer of analytics tools for learning management systems (LMS), has raised $3.4 million in a Series A round from Connecticut Innovations, Flashpoint VC, Smarthub VC and previous investor LETA Capital.
Founded in 2015, IntelliBoard integrates with LMSs used widely in the education market, including Blackboard Learn, Brightspace, Canvas, D2L and Moodle, to provide in-depth data and reports about usage and engagement. The idea is to provide educational institutions with more information about how students and educators are interacting with and using these tools.
The funding will support the company’s efforts to add features for tracking attendance and making recommendations for course work, according to a statement Monday.
