DON'T MISS THE BUS: For the third year in a row, senior members of the Department of Education are hopping on board a bus that will stop around the U.S. to showcase schools and talk up education reform. This year, the tour begins smack in the middle of Silicon Valley--in Redwood City. (Here's a map of the bus tour, which will make stops in a dozen states and the District of Columbia.) Details are still a bit hazy (such as exactly where, when and what Mr. Duncan will do once he gets there). If you want to go, DOE suggests you sign up here. There will also be "satellite" events that other members of the Department (including Under Secretary Martha Kanter and Director of the Office of Educational Technology Karen Cator will attend.
