DIY, KID: Vimeo co-founder Zach Klein and three others have launched DIY, a platform for kids to show off their projects in online portfolios that highlight the "little MacGyvers" in each one of them. Parents take a hands-on role in setting up accounts and monitoring kids' activities. Currently kids can only upload photos, but video and tutorial features are in the pipeline. (And by the way, good timing with the launch just a couple weeks before Maker Faire, the grandaddy of the DIY movement.)
