JOURNEY TO AMERICA: Philadelphia, PA-based Wilco Electronics has been reportedly in discussions with DataWind, ostensibly to get its hands on the Aakash tablet for distribution to underserved schools in the city of brotherly love. Apparently the Aakash 2 has been upgraded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but we'll keep our eye on this one--with charter and independent schools enjoying iPads galore, making underserved schools a test bed for what's already proven to be a shaky start seems a bit questionable.
