The company boasts a network of 60 accredited campus-based and online universities serving over 675,000 students around the world, with half of its revenues coming from Mexico, Chile, and Brazil. Former US President Bill Clinton is honorary chancellor. It was taken private in 2007 for $3.8 billion by its chief executive, Douglas Becker, and buyout firm, KKR & Co.
