MEDIACORE: $1 million to London, UK-based MediaCore from Alex Khein, Pierre Andurand, and other angels in the U.S. and U.K., bringing the startup's funding to $1.5 million. Originally focused on creating a private YouTube-like service for the business and enterprise space, the company is pivoting slightly to tackle the K-12 education space. On this front, the company has partnered with SchoolTube, an online video sharing platform where students and teachers share and showcase multimedia content.
