WORLDWIDE WEB: Updates from Fast Company on Google-backed O3B, a company focusing on the "worldwide" part of the WWW--namely the estimated three billion people who don't have reliable or affordable access (and the company gets its name). O3B raised over $1 billion back in late 2010, and has set a tentative launch date sometime in early 2013.
