Alexis Avedisian is a communications professional and writer. At NYC Media Lab, Alexis develops and operationalizes its events, as well as its newsletters and communications channels. In 2016, she joined the committee for Theorizing the Web, an annual conference that brings together journalists, artists, activists, and technology practitioners to think critically about the internet and society. Prior, Alexis worked in the Office of Communications at MIT School of Architecture and Planning. She holds an MA in Arts Administration from NYU Steinhardt and BFA from Tufts University.
