Jessica Garner is the Senior Director of Innovative Learning for ISTE+ASCD. Prior to joining ISTE+ASCD, she served 27 years in public education in the classroom, at the district level and at the state level. While a Spanish teacher at Porter Ridge High School in Union County, NC, she was named the 2010 North Carolina Teacher of the Year. Jessica’s heart is still with teachers, and this is the lens through which she approaches educational transformation. Her passions include educational technology, global education and dual language immersion.
