Sarah Pallito (she/her) is a high school activities director in Oakland. In this role, she oversees all school-wide community programs and serves as a voting member of her school’s site council to allocate Title I and Title IV funding. Pallito received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and her master’s degree in urban education and policy from Loyola Marymount University; her master’s thesis focused on the effects of a mentor figure on student achievement.
