DELL-LICIOUS: Everyone wants to be a part of the in-crowd, including Dell. So, the company announced yesterday their decision to roll out Chromebooks for K-12 education, with the first computers available for purchase this January. Along with the Dell Chromebook 11 hardware, Dell will grant educators and students access to an app called Dell Wyse PocketCloud, a collaborative file-sharing tool. And what about safety, you may asked? According to Dell reps, the management console will allow teachers or admins to “quickly push or remove applications and enforce safe browsing practices across all Chromebooks in a school's network.”
