OVERDRIVE: Cleveland, OH-based OverDrive was acquired by Tokyo, Japan-based Rakuten for $410 million. Founded in 1986, OverDrive rents over 2 million digital titles from over 5,000 publishers to over 30,000 libraries and schools worldwide. More from Reuters.
