OUTLEARN, a Boston-based company that curates professional development resources for software engineers, has raised $2 million in seed round funding. The year-old company is launching cloud software that integrates companies' existing content with existing web-based assets. Users can also curate their own paths through professional development resources. General Catalyst Partners and former Akamai CEO Paul Sagan led the round. Outlearn CEO Jeff Whatcott told BostInno that his mission with Outlearn is to end the phenomenon of developers relying on scattered Google searches for professional development resources.
