THIS ISN’T A FOLK TALE: Michael B. Horn is adding yet another title to his ever-growing biography. The co-founder of the Clayton Christensen Institute has been tapped to head the $25 million Robin Hood Education + Technology Fund, dedicated to support learning outcomes low-income students in New York. The fund is a partnership between three prominent New York-based foundations deeply involved in education grantmaking: Robin Hood, Overdeck Family Foundation and the Siegel Family Endowment.
The fund boasts a merry band of advisors that include Google executive chairman, Eric Schmidt and Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen. More details about the fund and the funders in the press release.
