EADMS (Educator’s Assessment Data Management System), a provider of formative assessment and data tools for K-12 school districts, will be merging with IO Education, an Atlanta, GA-based company founded in 1997. EADMS’ assessment and reporting tools will be integrated with IO Education’s vast suite of data products that aim to optimize classroom workflows, parent interactions, teacher professional development and school operations. IO Education was created as a rebranding of three edtech services—CaseNEX, Datacation and Longleaf Solutions—in May 2016. It claims more than 120,000 educators in 5,000 schools across all 50 U.S. states. Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
