ANALYZE THIS: Certica Solutions, the Wakefield, Mass.-based company behind the Certica Connect platform for K-12 organizations, has acquired a Texas company’s analytics service. Those tools, bought from K-12 Dynamics and renamed ViewPoint Connect, will join Certica’s suite of district data management products, according to a press release.
ViewPoint will allow teachers and administrators to view assessment scores, attendance and other data with visualizations including scorecards and charts. Traci Clarke, K-12 Dynamics CEO, said in a prepared statement the acquisition will help the service expand nationally and help educators better identify and help at-risk students.
Certica previously bought reading content tool Unbound Concepts and assessment and content management system ItemLogic in 2017.
